CHRISTIAN BERNADOTTE

Mr. Bernadotte represented McKinsey & Company in Europe and the United States from 1979 to 1986, assisting clients in operating performance improvement, reduction of costs, and development of new products and markets. Clients included major corporations in the manufacturing, aerospace and public sectors.


From 1986 to 1999, Mr. Bernadotte held various high-level operational and developmental positions with Nordson Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of adhesive, paint, and coating application equipment, primarily in the areas of packaging and assembly. Additionally, while in the position of VP-Corporate Development, he was the sponsoring executive for the company's on-time/on-budget SAP initiative. He also personally negotiated several successful acquisitions for Nordson.


Mr. Bernadotte is currently the CEO of cPref, a Cleveland-based start-up business-to-business software manufacturer, which grew out of MIT's market research initiatives. He also serves as the Chairman of Cavotec Gantrex Holdings, Inc, a European based manufacturer of power distribution systems for mobile equipment.

While residing in Atlanta, Mr. Bernadotte served on the boards of the Atlanta Opera, Atlanta International School and Exodus. In Cleveland he has served on the Nordson Corporation Foundation board, and is one of the founders of the Ohio chapter of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, which has the goal of increasing businesses between NE Ohio and Scandinavia. He currently serves as its Chairman. Mr. Bernadotte's interests also involve establishing better educational opportunities for children of families transferring to Cleveland from abroad.

Mr. Bernadotte holds a B.S.E.E. from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from INSEAD, France. He is fluent in French, German, and the Scandinavian languages.
