This Privacy Policy applies to your access and use of the website (the “Site”) of Glengary LLC (“Glengary”) accessible through the Site’s home page located at www.glengaryllc.com.  This Privacy Policy does not apply to the websites of any subsidiary or affiliate company, fund or portfolio company of Glengary or any other entity that is associated with Glengary. Those websites, like any other website, may have their own privacy policies and Glengary encourages you to review the privacy policies of any of those sites that you visit.

Introduction

Glengary respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting it. We recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of the personal information we learn about you while you visit the Site.  This Privacy Policy lets you know how we use and protect that information.  By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of your information by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, then please do not use the Site.

What Information Does Glengary Collect?

Glengary collects two types of information:

Collection and Use of Non-Personally Identifiable Information.

You can visit the Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personally identifiable information to us. During your visit, we may collect certain non-personally identifiable information. For example, we may track the number of visitors to the Site by logging Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We may keep track of what pages are visited on the Site so we can monitor the performance and usage of the Site. Also, we may pay attention to what visitors do and do not use on our website in order to assess the effectiveness of the Site and modify our content or design appropriately. Non-personally identifiable information may be used individually or aggregated with other non-personally identifiable information. We may use non-personally identifiable information for our own benefit and we may share non-personally identifiable information with other companies.

Personally Identifiable Information

We collect personally identifiable information about you only when you elect to provide such information to us, such as when you contact us or submit an Executive Summary to us.  The information collected might include your name, company name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone numbers, etc. Any personally identifiable information collected will be used solely for the purpose(s) for which it was collected unless you indicate otherwise. The personally identifiable information you provide to us may be shared with other companies with which we have relationships in order to complete your request.  We may also enlist a third party to collect, store, process and manage on our behalf any personal information you elect provide to us.  When we use other companies to perform services on our behalf, we will require that such companies protect your personally identifiable information consistent with this Privacy Policy.  We do not combine personally identifiable information with any of the non-personally identifiable information gathered on the Site.

In addition, from time to time, we may offer you the opportunity to receive information, products or services directly from a third party. If you elect to receive such items, we may share with such third party any of your personally identifiable information that was collected when you elected to receive such items.

We may process or store your personally identifiable information in our databases located in the United States or any other country in which we do business.

We may disclose personally identifiable information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the terms and conditions of the Site or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property or anyone else that is being harmed by such activities. We also may disclose personally identifiable information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for other governmental administrative, regulatory or law enforcement purposes.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that many websites place on your hard drive that allow those websites to identify you. The use of cookies is a standard and common practice of many websites. For example, if you allow a website to remember your login name or password, the website places a cookie on your computer. We may place cookies on your computer to allow us to identify you during future visits to the Site. We may use cookies to measure website traffic, to offer you certain services and to customize your visit. However, if you do not wish to receive cookies, or want to be notified of when they are placed, your browser may permit you to do so. In many browsers, you can change the browser settings to warn you before accepting cookies or to block cookies. If you block cookies, you may not be able to use certain site features or functions, or the Site may not operate in an optimal mode.

The Site and the services described on the Site are intended for adult individuals only. Glengary does not direct this Site to children under the age of 18 and does not seek to collect any personally identifiable information from children who identify themselves as being under the age of 18. We encourage and support the efforts of parents and legal guardians of children to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to caution them against providing personally identifiable information to any website over the Internet without permission.

To change or remove any personally identifiable information you have submitted to us, please contact us at info@glengaryllc.com.  Once we receive your request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to change or remove your personally identifiable information accordingly.  Please be aware, however, even if we update your personally identifiable information, or we remove such information, it may still be stored in other databases (including those kept for archival purposes) and may still be used to compile aggregated or demographic information for supply to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
